Hey, I’m Rachel.

I spent the first several years of my career as an Executive Assistant before moving into marketing project management and eventually offering fractional support on my own.

Somewhere along the way, what started as EA work turned into something else entirely. SOPs. Workflow design. Delegation systems. Helping founders build the operational layer that got things out of their head and into a repeatable, scalable system.

Because most of them didn’t just need more support. They needed structure first…the kind that meant they could finally take a day off again.

Where it went from there

I brought on a small team, refined the offer, and built Story & Strategy around one specific problem: founder-led service businesses that have outgrown how they’re currently running but don’t have the operational structure to support what comes next.

We come in, learn how the business actually operates, and build the foundation — documented processes, delegation systems, the automations and tools that keep things moving without the founder in the middle of everything. Then we stay embedded to make sure it holds.

Because there’s a difference between people helping your business and a partner who’s actually in it with you.

Small team. High standards.

The team approach

Story & Strategy is made up of a small team with high standards who genuinely love the kind of work most people find overwhelming.

We keep it intentionally lean. One person who genuinely knows your business beats a rotating cast of people who sort of do. When you work with us, you’ll always have a consistent point of contact — with backup behind the scenes so nothing depends on a single person to keep moving.

A few beliefs that guide our work.

The right support should make you feel lighter.

Not like you’ve added another person to manage. Support should make your week lighter, your business more resilient, and your time finally yours again.

trust is the actual product

Systems can be built. Processes can be documented. But if you don’t trust the person inside your business — none of it works. That’s why we’re selective. And why you should be too.

Delegation is a skill on both sides.

The support person needs to know how to step up to meet your standards, and that rarely happens without someone building the conditions for it first..

You built this by being everything. You scale it by not having to be.

We help you design a business that runs on process, not on your presence.
